Why 2nd half of season will be special for Georgia

As the Georgia Bulldogs head down to Jacksonville to face the Florida Gators in the “World’s Largest Cocktail Party”, the Bulldogs are finally getting something very special back on their side: health. UGA should get back both guard Tate Ratledge, and defensive end Jordan Hall back for this game, as they are both listed as probable headed in to Saturday’s contest.

Ratledge has been out since week three with an ankle injury, and when healthy, is a pretty significant piece to keeping quarterback Carson Beck upright and in the pocket. Hall is yet to make his 2024 season debut after dealing with several leg injuries leading in to the 2024 season. Assuming Georgia makes a deep postseason run, they finish the first half of the season with a record of 6-1, and that is while only being about 75% healthy. While no one has seen a fully healthy Georgia football team yet in 2024, they are extremely close, and that should scare not only the rest of the SEC, but the rest of college football. If Georgia football players can now just learn how to catch the football, UGA may be able to start planning a parade. Andy Bunker and Randy McMichael discuss the 2nd half for Georgia, and why it will be a special one to watch.
