On Saturday, the Georgia Bulldogs defeated the Kentucky Wildcats to get back in the win column after last weekend's loss to Alabama, Georgia first conference loss of the season. And while, Georgia did what was expected of them in their 35-14 victory over the Wildcats, 92-9 The Game's Carl Dukes, shared his thoughts on why he believes the Bulldogs' offense is missing a key factor from last year's team.

"There is something I think the Dogs coaching staff may be regretting, and that is letting Carson Beck go," Dukes said as he explained why he believes Beck's departure is beginning to reflect in how the Georgia offense has performed thus far this season.

"Carson Beck guys, is playing as well as anybody right now in college football," Dukes continued, noting he has no intent to down play Gunner Stockton's ability to lead the Bulldogs' offense, however, he believes Beck is producing in a manner which Georgia could be benefitting from this year.

"It's not a knock on the guy that's starting at Georgia right now, it's just facts. Carson Beck this season has been more impactful and has carried his team to bigger wins. It's why Miami is the best team in the country in my opinion," Dukes said admitting to being critical of Beck's performance during the 2024 season.

"He had the most drops of anybody in the SEC. Georgia' wide receivers were bad last year and even when he hit guys in the hands, it didn't matter, it still went down as a drop for Carson Beck. No Mike, I don't know if the kid wasn't healthy last season, but this is a different dude. This is the guy that Georgia thought they were getting last year," Dukes said.
