On Tuesday Andy Bunker and Randy McMichael were joined by DawgNationDaily Host and Georgia Bulldogs Insider, Brandon Adams. Andy & Randy spoke to Adams about just how long he thinks Kirby Smart will be the Head Coach of the Georgia Bulldogs.
“All of this centers around the money he is about to make and would certainly suggest that you know if there is any kind of likelihood that he would leave for another college job…leaving your alma mater when they have shown a willingness to pay you as much as they are about to pay him it seems to diminish all that certainly,” said Adams when asked if Kirby Smart will be at Georgia ‘forever.’
Coach Smart reportedly has a massive contract extension on the way after leading the Bulldogs to their first National Championship in football in decades.
While Adams makes the point that Coach Smart is highly unlikely to take another college coaching job he does bring up the idea that the NFL or retirement could come calling at some point. Take a listen to the audio clip to hear what else Adams had to say about Coach Smart’s future.
