Georgia Tech, for about the last decade, has been under the radar as far as social media goes. Matt Winkeljohn joined Sam Crenshaw in studio and gave some interesting insight in to what's going on over in the flats.  

In today's game, potential college football student athletes look at social media as a tool to help promote their recruitment. Geoff Collins values the brand promotion that comes with social media as well.  


The previous regime couldn't care less about what social media could do for the program. Now that Collins has made it a priority he has seen some good return so far with the time they have put in.

"He has people that are there specifically to tend to the social media surrounding Georgia Tech football" Winkeljohn said.  Collins is well on his way if the buzz around town is any indication to how successful he will be as a head coach.

We will see if the off the field success will transfer on the field when the Yellow Jackets take on Clemson in August.
