The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets are on a roll right now. Brent Key's squad is fresh off their first bowl win since 2016 and building on that by jumping into the top 25 of the team recruiting rankings. The Steakhouse discussed the success of the Yellow Jackets on the recruiting trail and what it means for the program moving forward.

The second-year head coach has done a tremendous job at locking down the borders of Georgia, with nearly sixty percent of his recruits hailing from the Peach State.

Two standout prospects that the Yellow Jackets landed this past weekend that Rusty Mansell highlighted included cornerback Dalen Penson from Sandy Creek and Sam Turner from Southwest Dekalb.

"The biggest thing is that he's getting big guys," producer Garrett said about the types of players that Brent Key is going after. "They have a lot of physicality and Brent Key has done a tremendous job of finding guys and identifying talent that fits the identity of what Brent Key wants to do, building inside out."

The Yellow Jackets have entered the fold on several blue-chip prospects that were once considered out of reach for the program in years past.

"It doesn't have to get into Georgia versus Georgia Tech [on the recruiting trail]," Mansell said. "If he continues to beat South Carolina, he continues to beat Arkansas, and he continues to beat those schools. They weren't winning any of those battles, [but] Brent Key has really turned that around. They don't have to beat Georgia, there's more than enough talent here."

Winning on the recruiting trail buys programs a first-class ticket to competing on Saturday's. If Brent Key can continue stacking wins in the prep ranks, the wins will start to roll in on The Flats.
