Is Jerry Gray the key to unlocking Jeff Okudah

Jon Chuckery shares his thoughts on why he likes Atlanta Falcons Asssistant Head Coach Jerry Gray working with Jeff Okudah

As the Atlanta Falcons prepare for the opening of training camp next month, their offseason roster additions have come with some mixed reviews, however most agree that defensively is where the Falcons improved the most with the additions of the likes of Jessie Bates, David Onyemata, Calais Campbell, Bud Dupree, and Jeff Okudah. On Friday, 92-9 The Game’s Jon Chuckery shared his thoughts specifically on Okudah as he reacted to a recent interview Atlanta Falcons reporter, Tori McElhaney had with the Falcons’ assistant head coach/defense, Jerry Gray.

McElhaney’s interview with Gray focused on the assistant head coach’s potential impact on Okudah and how he looks to help the third year corner return to the level of performance he had during his days at Ohio State and prior to his 2021 Achilles injury. Being a fan of Gray and Okudah, Chuckery shared his thoughts on how he hopes to see the cornerback “reach his full potential’ and that he believes that Gray’s approach to Okudah’s situation. “Forget about what you’ve done, forget about your injuries, all the things that you’ve dealt with in the NFL. Tell me what it was that made you great at Ohio State,” Chuckery said.
