The Golden State Warriors may be without their rookie center for the rest of the season.

According to multiple reports, James Wiseman sustained a torn meniscus in his right knee. NBA Insider Shams Charania reports that the fear is Wiseman could miss the remainder of the season.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the Warriors will consult with doctors over the next couple of days but also echoed that he could indeed miss the rest of the regular season.

Wiseman left Saturday’s 125-109 win over the Houston Rockets early in the second quarter and did not return. He landed awkwardly after being blocked by Kenyon Martin Jr. and his knee appeared to hit the floor hard.

Wiseman, who was selected by the Warriors in the first round with the second overall pick in the NBA Draft, was averaging 21.4 minutes per game, including 11.5 points, 5.8 rebounds and 0.9 blocks per game in 39 games this season.
