(SportsRadio 610) -- Deshaun Watson's interest in being traded to the Denver Broncos appears to be gaining steam.

Earlier this week, Broncos beat writer Mike Klis reported Watson has a list of four to five teams with Denver being on the list.

Broncos defensive back Kareem Jackson, a former teammate of Watson's in Houston and a friend of the quarterback, recently told TMZ Sports that Watson is interested in Denver.

"I had a couple of conversations with him. Just with him saying that Denver is a place that's he's interested in landing," Jackson told TMZ Sports.

Watson has requested a trade from the Texans and the contract he signed last summer contains a no-trade clause, effectively allowing him to pick his destination with veto power over any trade proposal.

Texans general manager Nick Caserio said last week the team has no interest in trading Watson. The standoff continues until the Texans decide to trade Watson, or the franchise QB rescinds his request.
