Jets offensive tackle Mekhi Becton has reportedly elected to have surgery on his injured knee, which will sideline him for the next 4-8 weeks.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Becton will undergo surgery next Wednesday.
Jets head coach Robert Saleh said earlier this week that Becton was deciding whether or not to go the surgery route, and if he had elected against it, would still have to miss at least four weeks, perhaps up to six.
