It has not been a great two weeks for Skip Bayless.
The FS1 provocateur was back to discussing the play on-field during Monday’s “Undisputed” after spending last week under fire for his Damar Hamlin tweet, btu things did not fare much better for Skip.

During a discussion about the Buffalo Bills’ win over the New England Patriots, Bayless was talking about Josh Allen’s performance and noted how, “he throws to that kid [John] Brown, who looks like he’s going to be a star at some point.”
One problem with Skip’s assessment of the “kid”: he is a 32-year-old veteran.
Brown, whose career began in 2014 with the Arizona Cardinals, has had a solid career in the NFL, including two seasons of 1,000 yards receiving — the most recent in 2019 with the Bills when he had 72 receptions for 1,060 yards and six touchdowns.
If you want to give Bayless the benefit of the doubt, John Brown is a very generic name and he has only played in 13 games since that 2019 season, bouncing around three teams last year (Broncos, Jaguars, Bucs). Perhaps Bayless did not realize this was the same John Brown.
Of course, that would be awfully generous as Brown has been around long enough and has had enough success that most NFL fans — let alone analysts paid to talk about the game on TV — should know who he is.
Brown has played in just three games this season with the Bills, but made a big play on Sunday when he hauled in a 42-yard catch for a touchdown to put Buffalo up. 28-17.
Brown gave the ball to trainer Denny Kellington, who helped revive Hamlin last week and save the Bills safety’s life.
