Ben Simmons returned to the Wells Fargo Center on Thursday night for the first time as a member of the Brooklyn Nets.
He was greeted by huge boos from Sixers fans from the second he took the floor to the second he left.
Simmons came out to the court about 45 minutes before the game, standing around the court, passing, talking to Nets teammates — but not shooting. In fact, he only dunked the ball one time during his time on the court, a dunk that was met with a sarcastic round of applause from fans.
Simmons did not say anything to Joel Embiid, who was on the other side of the court warming up the entire time.
This article will be updated throughout the night.
