The NBA playoffs are well under way, after a short hiatus, as the push now is to crown an NBA Bubble champion.
With all of the teams being in one place, it really has changed the whole dynamic of the playoff atmosphere.
One example that exemplified this was the Portland Trailblazers against the Los Angeles Lakers matchup in the first round. The Trailblazers, early on, looked like they had a chance to win the series, but the best team eventually took over.
Sekou Smith, of NBA TV, joined The Jon Chuckery show and echoed that same sentiment.
"It'll give us, to me, a true champion" Smith said.
The playoff crowd, for a long time, has been a key factor in swaying playoff series' momentum in the past. We have had to get used to the term "the new normal" being thrown around every five seconds it seems. With no fans in the stands, it may prove that the best team will always win in the end anyway.
