UCLA's sorority row is getting private security after female students have been sexually harassed and intimidated by men.

KNX News’ Emily Valdez reported that sorority row was having problems with older men. Some of them appearing to be homeless, harassing the sorority students, calling them derogatory names, and one even touched himself.

Casey, a sorority member, said there’s one primary suspect who carried a bag with him everywhere.

“So I walked outside of the house, and I noticed him waiting just right outside of the house, looking up into our windows,” she told Valdez. “I texted the group chat and was like, ‘hey, just be warned, he's outside looking up into the windows and, you know, maybe just close your windows.’”

She said they did get a restraining order on the man, so he hasn't been seen around lately.

UCLA police said in a statement to KNX News that they are aware of the harassment and have increased patrols on Hilgard, where the sororities are.
