$25k reward offered for arrest in L.A. hit-and-run

LOS ANGELES (KNX) – Authorities are investigating a hit-and-run in Los Angeles that left one person severely injured last month.

On May 25 at 2 a.m., a pedestrian was hit by a car at the intersection of 12th Street and Central Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The car, described by police as a “silver SUV”, continued to drive past the scene.

Police told KNX News that a witness reportedly saw the driver of the car yell at the pedestrian, “Get out of the street!”

The pedestrian was taken to the hospital for severe injuries but has since been released from the hospital.

The department released surveillance footage of the hit-and-run on YouTube.

A $25,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the driver.
