Jake Owen’s baby daughter made an appearance during the country star’s set at Hometown Rising in Louisville over the weekend.
Paris, who is just about 5-months-old, looked in awe as dad proudly held her in his arms while talking to the crowd. Owen posted a photo of the moment on Instagram with the simple caption: “Daddy’s girl.”
Paris was born at the end of April to Jake and girlfriend Erica Hartlein. Owen also has a 6-year-old daughter with his ex-wife.
In an interview with People before Paris was born, Owen said he was less anxious about the wait for his second child.
“To be blessed with another beautiful little girl is a big deal because I do think that it takes special men to be a great dad to a little girl,” Owen added. “I feel like, thanks to Pearl, she’s shown me how to be a good father to little girls, and I’ll be a great father to Paris because of that.”
Owen released his sixth studio album shortly before Paris was born – the summer fun Greetings From…Jake. It included ACM single of the year nominee “Down to the Honkeytonk.”
