Pittsburgh (93.7 The Fan) - A Texas quarterback wants to play at Pitt.  Nate Yarnell of Lake Travis High School in Austin verbally committed to the Panthers on Thursday.  He becomes the eighth known player in the class of 2021.

Yarnell, 6-foot-6, 200 pounds, is a three-star recruit who chose Pitt over Utah and Houston.

I am very excited to announce I am committed to Pitt! Thank you to all the family and coaches that have helped get me to where I am today! #H2P @CoachDuzzPittFB @CoachWhipPitt pic.twitter.com/3ZSAsMbhGC
