Antonio Brown Is Asking For Help To Make A Comeback

(93.7 The Fan) - Disgraced NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown said last week he is planning to make a comeback to the league and on Monday, he took to social media to ask for help.

Brown first Tweeted about retired NFL quarterback Michael Vick.

“If my idol @MichaelVick can make a comeback I can too,” said Brown.

He also said he wants to meet Vick to “throw and talk about a comeback,” if he is in Florida.

Vick spent 21 months in a federal prison for his role in a dog fighting ring and returned to the NFL after missing the 2007 and 2008 seasons.

He finished his career in Pittsburgh as a backup to Ben Roethlisberger. He played in five games in 2015 for the Steelers starting three of them. He went 2-1 as a starter.

Brown also sent former wide receiver Plaxico Burress a message.

Burress returned to the NFL after a 20 month prison sentence after he pled guilty to a weapons charge.

He accidentally shot himself at a night club back in 2008 while as a member of the New York Giants.

Burress was drafted by the Steelers in the first round, 8th overall  in the 2000 NFL Draft.

He played his first five seasons with the Steelers and rejoined the team in 2014 to play in 4 games.
