The possibility of Antonio Brown being a Steeler in 2019 is not looking good.

In an exclusive interview with the Post-Gazette, Steelers owner Art Rooney II said it is “hard to envision” Brown being with the team when Training Camp starts.

Rooney also told reporter Gerry Dulac that “all options” are being explored by the team, with the only option not a possibility being a release.

Brown has not spoken to Coach Mike Tomlin or Rooney since he left Heinz Field during the last game of the year against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Rooney says it is still early in the process and no decisions will be made in a hurry.

The team isn’t worried about any salary cap ramifications saying that won’t affect their decision on what they do with Brown.

“That has to be taken into consideration, but, as I sit here today, “I’m not going to say that’s going to box us into anything,” Rooney said to the Post-Gazette. “If we decide something has to be done, we’ll figure out how to deal with that.”
