(93.7 The Fan) The Pittsburgh Pirates continue their 2020 Spring Training season with a game against former ace pitcher Gerrit Cole and the New York Yankees.
This will be Cole's first game in a Yankee uniform since signing a nine-year, $324 million deal in December.
Cole is the highest paid pitcher in baseball.
The game at George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, Fla. will be Cole's second start against the team that drafted him first overall in the 2011 MLB Draft.
Pirates' pitcher Chris Archer is also a late scratch and will not play due to a stiff neck.
Chris Stratton will be on the mound for the Pirates.
