
PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - According to reports, Myles Garrett has been reinstated by the NFL.
During th brawl between Garrett and Steelers’ QB Mason Rudolph, Garrett ripped Rudolph’s helmet off of him and then swung it connecting with Rudolph’s head.
Garrett was swiftly suspended indefinitely and missed the final six games of the 2019 season.
Garrett reportedly met with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell earlier this week and will now be allowed back in the league.
Garrett was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. Over the past two seasons, Garrett has become one of the most explosive defensive players in the NFL, as he has 24.5 sacks since the start of the 2018 season.
Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey received a three-game suspension for his role in the incident, but was reduced to two games.
Rudolph was reportedly fined $50,000.
Browns defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi was suspended for a game as well.
Both organizations were also fined $250,000.
