The camp will be 13 days long consisting of eight practice days, two off days, and three “game day simulations.”

The “game day simulations” will run like a traditional game day schedule and include intra-squad scrimmage games.

The entirety of training camp will be closed to the general public.

New additions to the 34-man roster include first round draft pick Samuel Poulin, who in the QMJHL this season recorded 77 points in 46 games.

Multiple AHL players will be featured in the lineup as well; Pierre-Olivier Joseph, Sam Militic, and Kevin Czuczman spent the entire season with the WBS Penguins.

Joseph is a 21-year-old defenseman who is expected to have a bright future in the NHL.

The 34-man roster also features the return of forward Jake Guentzel, who missed 30 games with a shoulder injury.

Forwards Nick Bjugstad and Dominik Simon as well as defenseman Zach Trotman are not part of the roster and will be out for the entirety of the playoffs with injuries.
