PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - To celebrate their 20th season, Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC is establishing a Hall of Fame and will have a new secondary logo.
“As the club gains momentum heading into its 20th anniversary season, we are proud to establish the Riverhounds SC Hall of Fame,” said Kevin Johnston, general manager of Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC and Highmark Stadium. “This will be a place where we honor those who have greatly helped propel our franchise forward to the success it has achieved over the past couple decades. We are thankful to everyone who has contributed time and effort into our organization, and the Riverhounds SC Hall of Fame will be a symbol of that.”
The hounds also unveiled a new secondary logo to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the club.
The Hounds look to improve on a 15-5-14 2018 season that ended with a heartbreaking playoff loss at a sold out Highmark Stadium in October when Pittsburgh fell to Bethlehem Steel FC in Penalty kicks.
