PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - The Pittsburgh Steelers have ruled out wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster leading into the Week 13 rematch with the Cleveland Browns.

Adam Schefter broke the news on Twitter; the Steelers are keeping Smith-Schuster out for the Week 13 contest.

Smith-Schuster will miss this Sunday's game while remaining in the concussion protocol and nursing back from a knee injury, as well.

Running back James Conner is also doubtful.

Conner is recovering from a shoulder injury.

Conner was limited in Thursday and Friday's practices after missing Wednesday's completely.

Steelers have ruled out WR JuJu Smith-Schuster and RB James Conner is doubtful. The Chiefs have ruled out RB Damien Williams.

The game is a highly touted rematch between the Steelers and Browns.

In the last matchup, the game concluded with an on-field fight between Steelers now-second string quarterback Mason Rudolph and Browns indefinitely suspended defensive end Myles Garrett.

The Week 13 will likely have some bad blood since the teams' last meeting resulted in three players being suspended in various capacities: Myles Garrett, Maurkice Pouncey, and Larry Ogunjobi.

Ogunjobi will be back for action after serving his one-game suspension.

Pouncey will still be out to finish his two-game suspension.

Garrett is also still out, and he’ll be out for the remainder of the 2019 season.
