PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - NFL Insider Adam Schefter with ESPN is reporting that the Steelers are looking to deal offensive tackle Marcus Gilbert.

The Fan Steelers insider Ed Bouchette with the Post-Gazette says if a trade can't get done, they may cut Gilbert.

Gilbert tweeted Friday morning "Next chapter", leading many to believe his time with the Steelers has come to an end.

In eight years with the Steelers, Gilbert has started in 87 of 88 games with Pittsburgh.

Gilbert missed Week 8 through 14 last season with a knee injury before being placed on injured reserve in mid-December. He was the Steelers rookie of the year in 2011.
