CRANBERRY, Pa. (93.7 The Fan) - Good news Penguins fans, Sidney Crosby has returned to full practice.
The captain joined his teammates on Friday morning at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex in Cranberry.
Crosby took the ice early and skated on his own for a bit before joining the rest of his teammates who tapped their sticks on the ice in approval of his return.
Crosby was on the top line along with Jake Guentzel and Conor Sheary
Crosby has not practiced with his teammates since is left a scrimmage game last Saturday.
The reason for Crosby's absence was not given by the team, citing the NHL's rules on providing medical information during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Stanley Cup Qualifiers begin against the Montreal Canadiens beginning August 1.
