PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - The Steelers have made multiple roster moves after placing their franchise tag on linebacker Bud Dupree.
In addition to linebacker Anthony Chickillo, the Steelers have also released fellow linebacker Mark Barron and receiver Johnny Holton.
Baron spent one season in Pittsburgh and played in 15 games, starting nine of them.
He had 82 tackles, three sacks, one fumble recovery and one interception.
Holton who signed as a free agent in last year had three catches for 21 yards and returned three kickoffs for 55 yards.
Holton played in all 16 games and started three of them.
Dupree is set to make $15.8 million in 2020 so the Steelers need to make cuts to get compliant with the salary cap.
More moves are expected over the next day or two.
