PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - The Steelers have placed another player on the Injured Reserve list and have signed a third string quarterback
The team placed safety Sean Davis on the injured reserve list Tuesday morning after he suffered a shoulder injury during the Steelers 28-26 loss to Seattle Sunday.
The 2016 second round draft pick missed the debut against the Patriots due to a sprained ankle and had 5 tackles on Sunday against the Seahawks before being injured.
The Steelers also added quarterback Paxton Lynch to the practice squad.
Lynch was drafted in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft (26th overall by Denver).
Lynch played in five games for the Broncos, starting four times before being cut in 2018.
He signed a futures contract with Seattle after not playing in the NFL last season.
The Seahawks wavied him to get their roster down to 53.
