Chris Hope: 'Bill Cowher Wouldn't Allow Us To Do Those Things'

Hope Told The PM Team About The Differences Between His Steelers Teams And The Current One

PITTSBURGH (93.7 The FAN) - Former Pittsburgh Steeler Super Bowl champion Chris Hope knows what it takes to win it all.

He joined Andrew Fillipponi and Chris Mueller of The PM Team to talk about winning a Super Bowl, but also what he thinks about this current Steelers team.

""No disrespect to them," Hope said about the 2020 Steelers defense, "but I get offended when people talk about that defense like it was one of the best defenses in Steelers history."

Hope went on to compare different aspects of the defense to the guys he played with.

"Watt-Dupree are not really close to Joey Porter and James Harrison. In my opinion."

You can describe Hope as an old school football guy, in fact he describes himself that way, so the guys asked him what he makes of all the talking and dancing he saw from the Steelers this year, including Juju dancing on opponents logos.

"Bill Cowher wouldn't allow us to do those things."
