PITTSBURGH (93. 7 the Fan) The J.J. Watt free agency saga rolls along and it seems the Pittsburgh Steelers are no longer an option for the Pro Bowl Defensive End.
ESPN’s John Clayton joined the PM Team on 93.7 the Fan and said there are three teams left in the running on Watt.
Clayton said the three teams are the Buffalo Bills, Green Bay Packers, or Tennessee Titans.
Tennessee and Green Bay are seen as front runners according to Clayton.
There is also an outside chance that the Las Vegas Raiders could land Watt.
Clayton would go on to say he is anxious to see what kind of contract Watt does end up signing, wherever it may be, because it is going to be hard for a 30+ year-old defender to find a deal worth over $10 million annually.
The statements made by Clayton all but make certain that the Steelers no longer have a chance to acquire all three Watt brothers.
