Hamlin, who needed to be revived on the field during a Monday night game after suffering a cardiac event, has been recovering.
He’s been seen a few times around his hometown. Earlier this week, Hamlin was at Petersen Events Center for a Pitt men’s basketball game.
On Wednesday, he visited his former elementary school, Propel Montour Charter schools.
The young scholars were surprised by Hamlin who took time to read to them, visited classrooms and got to talk to some of his former teachers.
