He may have screwed up the announcement, but J.J. Watt has a new job fresh out of retirement from his 12-year NFL career.
Watt is joining the NFL on CBS studio crew this season, he announced Thursday afternoon on social media. He should add value to the show with James Brown, Bill Cowher, Boomer Esiason, Nate Burleson and Phil Simms.
The only issue is that instead announcing his move to CBS, Watt said he was joining CVS, which of course is a pharmacy and convenient store rather than a broadcasting company.
Watt spent 10 of his 12 NFL seasons playing for the Texans after the drafted him 11th overall in 2011. He became a three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year and a seven-time All-Pro, including five times first-team.
