According to reports, Myles Garrett is out of the AFC North after the Browns and Rams made a massive deal Monday.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport says the defending Defensive Player of the Year is being dealt by Cleveland to Los Angeles in exchange for Rams linebacker Jared Verse, a 2027 first-round draft pick and more.
The Cleveland edge rusher set the all-time sack record last season with 23 and earned in second DPOY award.
Garrett broke the record previously set by Michael Strahan and later tied by Steelers LB T.J. Watt.
At 25-years-old, Verse is a rising star in the NFL with only two years under his belt.
Verse has 12 sacks and 71 tackles over those two seasons after being selected 19th overall by the Rams in the 2024 NFL Draft.
The Rams add another massive piece in hopes of a Super Bowl push and the Browns appear to be going back to square one and hope this rebuild will work.
