According to a report, two local high school teams that had to postpone their opening game due to their opponents dealing with COVID-19 cases will play each other in Week 1.
North Allegheny was set to take on Seneca Valley and Penn Hills was scheduled to play Kiski but both Kiski and Seneca Valley currently have paused football practice after cases within the district.
The Post-Gazette’s Brad Everett says North Allegheny and Penn Hills will now play on September 11.
