PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – He dominated at defensive tackle like few if no others, Penn Hills great and Pitt legend Aaron Donald announced his retirement after a stellar decade in the NFL.

A three-time Defensive Player and seven times in the top five in voting, Donald finished with 111 career sacks including leading the league with 20.5 in 2018. The 32-year-old had 176 tackles for loss and 260 quarterback hits to go with his 543 total tackles.

“For 10 years, I have been fortunate to play the game of football at the highest level,” Donald said in a social media post. “I’m thankful for the people I’ve met along the way, the relationships I’ve built and the things I’ve accomplished with my teammates and individually.”
