PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – A player from Pine-Richland High School highlights a Pitt volleyball recruiting class the program says is their highest ranked ever.
"We see the Class of 2026 making an impact on our program from the moment they arrive, and we couldn't be more excited to welcome this group of talented players and even better people to our family," said head coach Dan Fisher in a statement released by the university. "This group has not only shown their skill but their competitiveness at every level of junior volleyball."
Rams senior Isabelle Hoppe is the second-ranked setter in the nation according to Prep Dig and a First Team All-American by Volleymag.com and Under Armour. She has competed for a couple of U19 USA national teams.
"Isabelle is a proven setter at the high school, club and USA Volleyball levels,” Fisher said. “It is special that she has grown up around our program, and we are thankful that a player of her caliber chose to stay home here in Pittsburgh."
The class also features an outside hitter and a setter from Las Vegas, along with an outside hitter from New York and an opposite from Kentucky.
The 21-3 and third-ranked Panthers play at number five Stanford Friday night at 10p.
