Pitt QB Slovis not seriously injured despite rumors

Both Andrew Fillipponi and Jeff Hathhorn confirm the report

Several people are refuting claims that a Pitt quarterback was seriously injured at practice on Saturday.

A rumor was swirling around the internet that transfer quarterback Kedon Slovis was carted off the practice field with an injury.

Both The Fan’s Andrew Fillipponi and Jeff Hathhorn are confirming that is not the case.

“Contrary to internet rumors, a Pitt quarterback DID NOT get carted off the field at practice today” said Poni. “There was no serious injury suffered. First week of practice. A minor injury gets treated with a precautionary approach. Enjoy your weekend!”

Hathhorn also said “sources are not concerned about this injury to Kedon Slovis.

Slovis is battling Nick Patti for the Panthers starting job after Kenny Pickett was drafted by the Steelers.

Pat Narduzzi and the Panthers opened up camp last Monday.

There first game will be in front of a sold out crowd at Acrisure Stadium when they renew the “Backyard Brawl” on September 1. Kickoff is at 7:00 p.m.
