The CLASS Award is an acronym that stands for Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School.

The award is given to the NCAA Division I football player, who is a senior or graduate student, and has notable achievement in the four areas of excellence.

Those four areas are community, classroom, character, and competition.

Following a great start to the 2021 NCAA season, Pickett has been listed by USA Today as a ‘legitimate candidate for the Heisman.’

The list of 30 names will soon be slimmed to 10. Those names will be placed on the official ballot and will be voted upon by media, coaches, and fans.

The Senior CLASS winner will be announced during bowl season.
