PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – He stared at least one game each of the last three seasons for Pitt. He handled himself with class after losing the starting quarterback job to Eli Holstein days before the start of the season.
Redshirt Junior Nate Yarnell entered the transfer portal Friday.
Yarnell said in a statement on social media he was blessed to play at Pitt giving his heart and soul. The Austin, Texas native will have two seasons of eligibility left.
He threw for 1,056 yards with 10 touchdowns and five interceptions this season and over his career played in 15 games, 149-243, 1846 yards, 15 touchdowns, six interceptions
