The Penguins made several moves on Thursday morning.
Fourth line forward Connor Dewar has signed a two-year extension worth $2.25 million.
Dewar played in 78 games this past season with 14 goals and 16 assists.
The Penguins are also bringing back defenseman Ilya Solovyov, signing him to a one-year contract worth $850,000.
Solovyov played 14 regular season games for the Penguins this season after he was acquired in a trade with the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for forward Valtteri Puustinen and a seventh-round draft pick.
Solovyov played in three games this past playoffs in the Penguins’ loss to the Philadelphia Flyers in Round One.
The Penguins also signed top prospect forward Bill Zonnon to an amateur tryout agreement with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
The 19-year-old was recently with Blainville-Boisbriand, part of a junior league in Quebec.
Zonnon was drafted 22nd overall by the Penguins last year.
