The Pittsburgh Maulers are playing closer to Pittsburgh this year.

Instead of Birmingham, Alabama, the USFL team will play their games in Canton, Ohio, the home of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Head Coach Ray Horton and some players threw out the first pitch at an MLB game last night, but it wasn’t in Pittsburgh…it was in Cleveland.

Horton was joined by quarterback James Morgan, linebacker Reuben Foster and defensive lineman Boogie Roberts, who were all in Guardians uniforms.

Maybe it was just easier for the Maulers, now in black and gold, to get to Cleveland.

Pittsburgh is a little over two hours from Canton, Cleveland a little over an hour.

Hopefully we can get the Maulers into the best ballpark in America soon.
