PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - Pittsburgh native Cam Johnson has inked a 4-year deal with the Brooklyn Nets for $108M.

Johnson was traded by the Phoenix Suns to the Nets last season and Brooklyn didn't want to see him go after a career year averaging 15.5 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.2 steals per game. He also shot 40.4 percent from behind the arc in 42 games last season for the Suns and Nets.

Instead of waiting for another team to reach out to Johnson, Brooklyn decided to negotiate a new deal with the 27-year old.

The Nets will now get to see what a full season will look like with the 6'9 forward who graduated from Our Lady of the Sacred Heart and attended the University of Pittsburgh before he transferred to North Carolina.
