Caps/B's Game 1 had more eyes on it in Pittsburgh than in D.C.

They won't be getting the 'best fans in hockey' title anytime soon

The Washington Capitals have one of the most rabid fanbases in the NHL, right?

Eh, not so fast.

The Capitals hosted the Boston Bruins for Game One of the 1st round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs on Saturday and the rating are in.

NBC Sports PR says the top market during the game was Boston with a 9.2 share. So next was Washington right? No, not even close.

Washington came in at #6 with a 3.4 share. They were beat by Providence, RI (8.9), Ft. Myers, FL (4.2), PITTSBURGH (3.9) and Baltimore (3.7).

More people watched the Bruins/Caps in Pittsburgh than in D.C.

To be fair, if you combine Baltimore and Washington that number is 7.1 which is good for third.

That series is currently tied at one game apiece.
