In February, the Pittsburgh Penguins will retire Jaromir Jagr's #68 and raise it to the rafters at PPG Paints Arena.
But before that, Jagr is going to lace up his skates and make his 2023-24 professional hockey debut for the team he owns in Czech Republic, the Klando Knights.
Of course, he'll be wearing #68.
With Jagr playing in a professional game, at 51-years-old, his eligibility for the Pro Hockey Hall of Fame is delayed until 2017.
Jagr spent the first 11 of his 24 seasons in the NHL with Pittsburgh with 439 goals and 640 assists over 806 regular season games with the Penguins.
He's fourth in Penguins history for goals scored, assists and points and second in game-winning goals
He was the scoring leader in 1995, 98, 99, 00 and 01, is a five-time Art Ross Trophy winner, won the Hart Trophy, the NHL's most valuable player in 1999 and countless other accolades.
