Joining the two standout players in Penguins head athletic trainer Chris Stewart.

Stewart will be representing both the Metropolitan and Atlantic Divisions as an Eastern Conference athletic trainer.

A native of Johnstown, PA joined the Penguins 16 years ago and this will be his first trip to the NHL All-Star game.

Stewart began his career as an NHL athletic trainer following the 2004-05 lockout when he joined the Carolina Hurricanes organization.

The Canes went on to win the Stanley Cup in 2006 and Mark Recchi left to join the Penguins for his third stint with the team.

The Penguins at the time were looking for a head athletic trainer and it was Recchi who put in a good word.

The rest is history for Stewart who has been with the Penguins ever since.

Three Cups and a pandemic later, Stewart is being rewarded for his hard work with the Penguins.
