PITTSBURGH (93.7 the Fan) With Penguins goalie Tristan Jarry going down with a sudden lower-body injury, the team has had to make an emergency call up to fill the open roster spot.

The Penguins announced Friday that Louis Domingue has been called up to the NHL on an emergency basis.
Jarry is currently being evaluated for his injury and there is yet to be a time table given on a return.
This will be Domingue’s second NHL stint of the 2021-22 NHL Season.
His first run saw him appear in one game where he collected a 40 save victory over the San Jose Sharks.
That game was on jan. 15 and was a 2-1 overtime victory for the Penguins.
The Penguins head to Boston to face the Bruin on Saturday afternoon, and it is expected that Casey DeSmith will get the start.
The penguins then will not play until Thursday the 21st of April, plenty of time for the team to evaluate and hopefully have Jarry back from injury.
There are only six games remaining in the regular season for the Penguins.
