PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – The Penguins honored two-time Steelers Super Bowl winning quarterback Ben Roethlisberger at the start of their critical game with the Rangers Tuesday night.
Roethlisberger participated in the honored tradition of dropping a ceremonial first puck. The Steelers record-holder came out of the team tunnel walking on a black mat along the bench and out to center ice. He was joined by Pens captain Sidney Crosby and Rangers captain Barclay Goodrow.
After the drop of the puck a handshake and a return of the puck by Crosby and a loud ovation, many of them twirling Terrible Towels to honor Roethlisberger's 18-year career.
