Rumors are swirling that the Pirates first overall draft pick Paul Skenes is dating a rising superstar.
It’s early, but there are high hopes for Skenes, he’s been touted as the best pitching prospect since Stephen Strasburg.
Even with that all the potential, his popularity is nothing compared to his rumored love interest.
Olivia Dunne, the 20-year-old LSU gymnast has amassed millions of followers on platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
She started by posting gymnastics videos then started posting other content, including fashion posts and plenty of bikini modeling.
She was featured in Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue this year and is making seven-figures, in part thanks to her NFT and sponsor partnerships online.
People have noticed some evidence that Dunne is with Skenes in Bradenton, Florida, where the Pirates’ rookie complex is located.
In phone photo she has a Pirates hat one and in another there is a baseball glove, that looks very similar to one Skenes used on the field this past season.

If Skenes and Dunne are an item, it would be the biggest Pirates power couple since Cole Tucker and Vanessa Hudgens.
Hopefully for Skenes, his baseball career is better than Tucker’s.
He is currently in the Colorado Rockies farm system.
There are hopes Skenes will be fast-tracked through the minors and could hopefully start the 2024 season in Pittsburgh or be called up later one.
