Pirates' reliever Stratton asking for help to find missing dog

The search is on for a Pirates pitcher’s missing dog.

Bucs reliever Chris Stratton says his 50-pound lab heeler mix, named Ace, is missing after getting out of his backyard in Shadyside on Thursday.

In a tweet, Stratton says that Ace currently doesn’t have a collar on and would appreciate if anyone sees Ace to please let him know.

Stratton and his wife Martha Kate have three children.

Stratton is in his third year with the Pirates and this season has a 1-0 record with a 3.55 ERA with 23 strikes outs and 7 walks in 20 appearances.
