With cases of COVID-19 increasing in the Titans organizations, calls for them forfeiting games are mounting.
On Thursday morning Steelers tight end Eric Ebron tweeted after learning of more cases in Tennessee, "4-0… Week 8 bye?? Just askin."
The Steelers/Titans game was postponed after and outbreak occurred in Tennessee.
On Wednesday it was reported some Titans players broke league protocols and gathered for a workout at a private facility while theirs was shut down due to the outbreak.
It is also being reported that the scheduled Titans/Bills game could be moved from Sunday to Monday or Tuesday in Tennessee. The league would then move the Thursday night game between the Chiefs and Bills to Saturday.
On Thursday, Tight End Vance McDonald echoed quarterback Ben Roethlisberger's word that the team got the short end of the stick.
McDonald says the team has been following protocols from the beginning and have been doing what they need to stay as safe as possible and when another team doesn't do that (Titans) they paid the price.
"It's all about that fair playing field. Until it's established and figured out, we're moving through it with blinders on," said McDonald.
