The stats around wide receiver Chase Claypool are alarming and sad.
A few people on X, formally Twitter, have pointed out he hasn’t been on a team that’s one a game going back over a year.
October 16, 2022 was the last time Claypool saw a win. It was a 20-18 win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
He had seven catches for 96 yards and one touchdown. By far the best game he has had since.
The Steelers lost the next two games before he was traded to the Chicago Bears.
The Bears lost every game while Claypool was on the team.
He was recently traded to the Miami Dolphins, along with a 7th round pick for a 6th round pick in 2025.
Claypool had no catches in the Dolphins 31-17 loss to the Eagles on Sunday night.
What has happened to each team since he left is even more crazy.
The Bears went 0-13 with Claypool. They’re 2-1 since trading him.
The Steelers are 11-4 since trading him. They were 2-6 before getting rid of him in 2022.
And the Dolphins are now 0-1 with him.
That mean’s Chase Claypool has lost 20 straight games.
Yikes.
